How to Upload Videos
You've captured some great footage on a digital video camera. Now who will watch it?
Well, SportsPassion recommends using YouTube's video upload service for this competition. You will need to finish editing your video, make sure it's less than 10 minutes, smaller than 100MB, and in an acceptable format, you're ready to upload it.
- Go to YouTube and register for an account.
- Click "Upload Videos" in the upper-right-hand corner of any YouTube page.
- Enter as much information about your video as possible, including Title, Description, Tags, and Category. The more information you include, the easier it is for users to find your video!
- Set your video to Public view.
- Click the "Continue Uploading" button.
- In the next window, click the "Browse" button to browse for the video file. Select the file you want to upload.
- Click the "Upload Video" button.
Uploads usually take 1-5 minutes per MB on a high-speed connection, and converting your video takes a few minutes.
How do I embed videos on my SportsPassion TeamZone?
- To embed a video, just copy the code from the "Embed" box—you can find it in the "About This Video" box when you're watching the video on YouTube.
- You can also get the code from the "Embed HTML" box on the YouTube Edit page if the video is yours. Once you've copied the code, just paste it into your SportsPassion TeamZone.
